How to apply for Alberta PNP?

  • Before submitting their application, candidates need to determine the most suitable immigration stream based on their individual circumstances and the specified eligibility criteria.
  • The federal Express Entry program is harmonious with enhanced streams. The Alberta government has the option to issue a Notification of Interest to candidates who have utilized the Express Entry system and express an interest in immigrating to the province. Upon receiving the Notification of Interest, candidates are required to respond and, if selected, proceed to submit an application through the AAIP website.
  • Alberta has made enhancements exclusively to the Alberta Express Entry stream and the Alberta Accelerated Tech Pathway.
  • All other existing streams in Alberta fall under the category of base streams. To apply through these streams, candidates must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) via Alberta’s AAIP portal. It is important to note that these streams cannot be accessed through the Express Entry system.
