Immigrate to Australia from India in 2023

In order to migrate to Australia from India permanently, as a first step, you are required to secure a permanent resident visa. This entire visa and immigration process in Australia is handled and managed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). DIBP is the sole authority to whom you are supposed to provide relevant information and documentation, which is a must to start the process of filing an application for immigration to Australia. Once your visa application is approved by the said authority, you may find a job and a place to reside.

Below are the requirements that are taken into consideration when filling out this form.

Note that you will be scored for each assessment.

Age – you must be under 45 when you apply;

English Language Proficiency – You should have sufficient ability in the English language to work in Australia, this means you must take an English language test. Either the International English Language Testing System IELTS or the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL. Don’t let this freak you out all right, you can always read and pass the exam.

Nominated Occupation – Before you apply you must have nominated a skilled occupation, which is your skills and qualifications. This occupation must be found on the Medium and Long term strategic skills list.

Skill Assessment – Before you apply, you must have your skills assessed by an Australian assessing authority designated to assess your nominated occupation (which will usually have specific qualifications requirements),

Health Assessment – You must prove that you are healthy. All applicants must have their health assessed by a panel doctor and undergo a medical examination.

Character assessment – You should be a good character. But take note, this too must be assessed as well by some panel of judges.
