Eligibility Criteria of SINP

The eligibility criteria for the International Skilled Worker (ISW) Stream of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) were as follows:

  • Occupation in Demand: Your primary profile should not be in the Excluded list of occupations, published by Saskatchewan.
  • Education and Training: You need to have completed post-secondary education, training, or apprenticeship equivalent to the Canadian education system. If education is obtained outside Canada it requires an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report.
  • Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate language proficiency in either English or French. You can provide language test results from approved language testing agencies, such as IELTS or CELPIP for English, or TEF for French.
  • Work Experience: You should have a minimum of one year of work experience in the past ten years in your field of education or training. This experience should be relevant to your nominated occupation.
  • Settlement Funds: You must demonstrate your ability to settle in Saskatchewan successfully. The required settlement funds vary depending on your family size.
  • Adaptability: Factors such as previous work experience or study in Saskatchewan, close family connections in the province, or a valid job offer may enhance your chances of nomination.
