PTE Scores
The Global Scale of English, a grading scheme that resembles a thermometer, is used to report PTE scores. Your overall score as well as the results of the communicative and enabling skills categories are included in your score report.
The calculation of your overall scores, which reflect your level of English language ability, involves looking at the results of all of the test’s components. Scores on the Global Scale of English range from 10 to 90 points. Your performance on test questions that pertain to each individual skill is what determines your scores on the communicative (reading, listening, speaking, and writing) and enabling (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, oral fluency, spelling, and written discourse) tests, which concentrate on your performance for specific content areas. For each of these two categories, you will be given a score between 10 and 90 points, similar to total scores.
An applicant can appear for PTE Academic throughout the year. You can appear for PTE exam within few days of applying.
