On February 8, 2024, Ontario conducted its 2nd PNP Draw (under Human Capital Priority Stream) of 2024, extending invitations to a total of 2,118 immigrants from the Express Entry Pool. Those with active profiles under the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Canadian Experience Class were eligible to apply.

Work Experience:

Education:
You must have a Canadian bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, PhD or degree, or equivalent from another country.

Language Proficiency:
You must demonstrate proficiency in English or French at Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 7 or above.
You must have taken an approved language test such as IELTS (General Training) in English or TEF in French within the last two years.
Settlement Funds:
You must have enough funds to support yourself and your dependents when you settle in Canada.
This requirement can be met through various means, including bank statements, annual earnings from employment in Ontario, or a job offer in Ontario.
Intention to Live in Ontario:
You must intend to live in Ontario after being granted permanent residence.
Your ties to Ontario, such as work history, job offers, education, property ownership, and personal relationships, are considered.
Legal Status in Canada (if applicable):
If you are applying within Canada, you must have legal status at the time of application.
‘Implied status’ is accepted if you’ve applied to renew/extend your temporary status document before its expiry date.
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP):
If you choose to apply under the FSWP, you must score at least 67 on six electives including education, language skills, work experience, age, planned career Canada and adaptability
