What is IELTS?

You can work, study, or immigrate to a country where English is the native tongue by taking the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Exam. This covers countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

During the test, your English skills will be evaluated on the basis of modules including listening, reading, writing, and speaking . A scale from 1 to 9 is used to evaluate IELTS tests.

IDP IELTS, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and the British Council all jointly own IELTS.

What is Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB)?

In order to determine your level of English proficiency for immigration purposes, the Canadian government uses the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) scale. From level 0 to 9, this scale is used. It is possible to convert your IELTS results into CLB levels.
