Here are the steps to apply for Alberta Express Entry Provincial Nomination and subsequently for Canadian Permanent Residency:

  • Nomination Approval: If your application is approved, Alberta Immigration will notify you and grant you an additional 600 points towards your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score.
  • Accept Nomination: Within 30 days, accept the nomination and proceed to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) by submitting the necessary documents and fees.
  • IRCC Evaluation: A case processing officer at Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will review your PR application.
  • Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR): Upon approval, you will receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).
  • Visa Stamping: Submit your passport for the issuance of the Canadian PR visa.
  • Start Your Journey to Canada: With the visa in hand, you are ready to begin your journey to Canada.
