British Columbia invited 161 applicants in the latest BC PNP Draw
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC-PNP) held two (2) draws on June 6, 2023, for specific tech, healthcare, and education-related occupations along with other priority occupations under the Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) programs.

What are the eligibility criteria for BC PNP tech Stream?
The BC PNP Tech Stream is designed to attract skilled foreign workers to the technology sector in British Columbia, Canada. Here are the general eligibility criteria for the BC PNP Tech Stream:
Job Offer: You must have a valid job offer from a BC employer in one of the eligible occupations listed on the BC PNP Tech Pilot page.
Occupation Requirement: You must be qualified for one of the eligible occupations in the BC PNP Tech Pilot
Wage Requirement: Your job offer must meet the wage requirements based on the specific occupation and location within British Columbia.
Experience: You must have at least two years of directly related work experience in the eligible occupation in which you are being offered a job.
Education: You must have completed a post-secondary credential of at least two years from an accredited institution. In some cases, extensive related work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate proficiency in English or French by providing valid language test results. The accepted language tests are IELTS (General Training), CELPIP (General), or TEF where one must try to score a minimum CLB 4 but it can also vary depending upon the employer’s requirement or the job offer also if you have applied for BC PNP Tech Stream via Express Entry then it being mandatory that you have CLB 7.
Intention to Reside: You must intend to live and work in British Columbia.
Legal Immigration Status: You must have legal immigration status in Canada if you currently reside there.
Adequate Settlement Funds: You must have sufficient funds to support yourself and any dependents upon arrival in British Columbia.

How one must apply for BC PNP Tech Draw?
After choosing their category, candidates can register online and get a registration score. There is no cost to sign up.
The BC PNP will hold a tech draw every second week to invite the top-scoring technology sector registrants to apply (subject to processing capacity).
A complete online application must be submitted by invited candidates no later than 30 days after the date of the invitation. The $1,150 application cost is for the government.
The application will be handled by the BC PNP with the first priority.
If accepted, the candidate will be given a nomination, which they can use to submit a petition for permanent residence.
