To apply for the BC PNP Tech Stream, follow these steps:
Step 1: Eligibility Check
Before applying for any program or category, ensure you meet the eligibility criteria.
Step 2: Registration
Create a profile and register on the BC PNP Online platform. Registering is essentially expressing your interest in applying to the BC PNP. Your registration will be evaluated and assigned a score based on the information you provide.
Step 3: Invitation
The BC PNP will periodically issue invitations to individuals who have registered to apply for the BC PNP. The information you provide during registration determines your eligibility for these Invitations to Apply (ITAs). These ITAs may focus on specific elements, such as the employment region or occupation.
Step 4: Application
If you are eligible for the Health Worker or International Post-Graduate stream, you can apply directly through the BCPNP Online without the need for prior registration.
After these steps, if you receive an invitation to apply, you can proceed with submitting a comprehensive online application, paying the government fee of $1475 in Canadian currency, and undergoing the BC PNP’s application evaluation process. Successful applicants will receive a nomination, which can be used to apply for permanent residence in Canada. Those nominated who meet certain criteria may also receive a work permit support letter to continue working while their application is processed.
