The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) has just conducted its latest draw for invitations to apply (ITAs), and the results are in. This draw, which occurred on September 6, 2023, brings promising opportunities for skilled workers and graduates to make British Columbia their new home.

Invitations were extended to candidates falling within the International Graduates and Skilled Workers categories, including Express Entry applicants.

Out of a total of 222 applicants, 160 were successfully chosen in the General and Technical Draw. The selected candidates had scores spanning from 107 points, which was the minimum requirement for Skilled Workers (including EEBC Option) and 110 points which was a minimum requirement for International Graduates (including EEBC). In contrast, entry-level and semi-skilled workers only needed 89 points to be eligible for selection.

  • You should have accepted a permanent, full-time job offer from a British Columbia company. The offer should not be temporary or have a specified end date.
  • The job position you are offered must fall within a skilled profession categorized as NOC (National Occupational Classification) levels 0, 1, 2, or 3.
  • Demonstrate that you have the means to financially support yourself and any dependents.
  • Maintain legal immigration status in Canada.
  • Meet the minimum language proficiency requirements for occupations falling under NOC levels 2 or 3.
  • Possess the necessary qualifications and skills to perform the duties of the job you’ve been offered.
  • Accumulate at least two years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience in any skilled occupation categorized under NOC levels 0, 1, 2, or 3.
  • Ensure that the salary offered to you aligns with the industry wage standards in British Columbia.
