International Development Program India updates its IELTS Fee which is to come into effect on April 1, 2023. The revised fee is INR 750 more than the previous fee; where the previous fee for online and offline test cost INR 15,500/- per individual irrespective the applicant is appearing for the General or Academic IELTS exam.
The current IELTS fee will be coming into effect from April 1st, 2023 where the applicants will have to pay INR 16, 250/- whether they are appearing for General or Academic IELTS.
The Payment Method
The following methods are available for paying the IELTS test fee:
Net banking, credit/debit cards (Visa or MasterCard), Demand Draft and Bank Deposit
Demand Draft – Please ensure that the demand draught is drawn in favor of “IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LTD, Payable at New Delhi” and is made from the list of recognized banks. The list can be found here in the Terms & Conditions paper.
Bank deposit – As a substitute, candidates may deposit cash at ICICI or HDFC bank branches using a personalized deposit slip that may be printed from the IELTS IDP India website or acquired through the nearby IELTS IDP branch office/referral partner. The original customer copy of the deposit slip must be included with the IELTS application form.

The tests for listening, reading, and writing are taken on the same day, sequentially, without a break. Any day up to a week before or after the exam date may be used for the Speaking test. Exam takers preferring paper-based exams IELTS can reserve a time slot for the Speaking exam at a convenient time and date. If you don’t select a time slot inside the given window of time, one will be assigned automatically.
