What is the eligibility criteria for BC PNP?

  • To be considered for an ITA, candidates must have submitted an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the BC PNP system.
  • The EOI profile is assessed based on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and connections to the province.
  • Candidates with higher scores receive priority in the draw. The BC PNP uses a points-based system to rank applicants, with additional points awarded for factors like having a job offer in BC or having completed studies in the province.
What is the application process for BC PNP Draw?
  • Successful candidates who receive a provincial nomination can then apply for permanent residency through the federal Express Entry system or the Provincial Nominee Class.
  • The provincial nomination provides an additional 600 points toward the candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in the Express Entry pool, significantly improving their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
  • Candidates who received an ITA in this draw must submit a complete application for provincial nomination within the specified timeframe.
  • Once nominated, they can proceed with their federal permanent residency application, including medical exams, security checks, and other requirements.
