How to Apply for PEI PNP?

Navigating the process of applying for the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) involves several key steps:

  • Step 1 – Assess Eligibility: Begin by thoroughly evaluating your eligibility for the PEI PNP, ensuring that you meet all the program’s specific requirements.
  • Step 2 – Activate Express Entry Profile: To qualify for the PEI PNP, it’s essential to have an active Express Entry profile within the Express Entry Pool
  • Step 3 – Create PEI Expression of Interest (EOI) Profile: Demonstrate your interest in the program by generating a PEI Expression of Interest (EOI) profile. This action indicates your intention to pursue the nomination.
  • Step 4 – Awaiting Invitation to Apply (ITA): After your EOI profile is active, patiently await an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the PEI PNP authorities. ITAs are extended to eligible candidates.
  • Step 5 – Document Preparation and Submission: Once you receive an ITA, prepare your application documents in accordance with the provided checklist. Ensure that you include the required fees when submitting your application.
  • Step 6 – Timely Application Submission: Within 180 days of receiving the province’s nomination, submit your application for permanent residency in Canada, along with the requisite fees.
  • Step 7  – Submit Passport: Upon receiving the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) request, make a visit to the Visa Application Centre to submit your passport.
