Quebec Issued 1218 Invitations in the Latest QSSW Draw

On July 5th, 2023, the Canadian province of Quebec published the results of the draw held on June 29th, 2023. This was the ninth Quebec immigration draw, conducted by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration in the year 2023. In this Quebec Immigration draw, profiles were extracted from the Arrima Bank on June 26, 2023, at 6:30 a.m.

A total of 1218 applicants were invited to apply for Permanent Selection. Invitations were issued based on labor market needs and immigrants’ integration potential.

Following submission, successful applicants will have an average of six months to obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ).

Draw 1:

What were the eligibility criteria for the Quebec PNP draw?

These invites were sent to those who met the following requirements:

  • They must have a CLB 7 oral proficiency in the French language.
  • They had a score equal to or greater than 584 points.
  • They must have a legitimate job offer from outside Montréal Metropolitan Community.

Their profession is included in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) below:

  • 0213 – Computer and information systems managers
  • 2147 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
  • 2171 – Information systems analysts and consultants
  • 2172 – Database analysts and data administrators
  • 2173 – Software engineers and designers
  • 2174 – Computer programmers and interactive media developers
  • 2175 – Web designers and developers
  • 2241 – Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2281 – Computer network technicians
  • 2282 – User support technicians
  • 2283 – Information systems testing technicians
  • 5223 – Graphic arts technicians
  • 5225 – Audio and video recording technicians
  • 5241 – Graphic designers and illustrators

Draw 2:

The invites were also sent out to the people meeting the following Quebec eligibility criteria:

  • They must have CLB 7 oral proficiency in the French language.
  • They must have a score of 592 or more.
  • They must have a legitimate job offer from outside Montréal Metropolitan Community.

  • 2232 – Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians
  • 2233 – Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians
  • 3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
  • 3233 – Licensed practical nurses
  • 3413 – Nurse aides, orderlies, and patient service associates
  • 4031 – Secondary school teachers
  • 4032 – Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
  • 4214 – Early childhood educators and assistants
