In the First Quebec Draw of 2023, 1011 Invitations Issued

On February 15th, 2023, the Canadian province of Quebec published the results of the draw held on February 9th, 2023. This is the first Quebec arrima draw of 2023, conducted by the Quebec Ministry of Immigration in the year 2023.

In this draw, a total of 1011 applicants were invited to apply for Permanent Selection. Invitations were issued based on labor market needs and immigrants’ integration potential.

Following submission, successful applicants will have an average of six months to obtain a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ). These invites were sent to those who met the following requirements:

  • They either met the Quebec latest draw cut-off of the 619-point threshold or had a score of at least that amount, or
  • They received a legitimate job offer from a location outside the Montréal Metropolitan Area.

As of January 1, 2023, in addition to the invitations listed in the table above, the Minister of Immigration, Francization, and Integration also extended an invitation to one person to submit an application for permanent selection in accordance with Sections 26 of the Québec Immigration Regulation (CQLR, chapter I-0.2.1, r. 3) and Section 47 of the Québec Immigration Act (CQLR, chapter I-0.2.1).
