Manitoba PNP Invites 1,113 Applicants in latest PNP Draw

Manitoba PNP Invites 1,113 Applicants in latest PNP Draw

In the latest Expression of Interest Draw #204 held on December 21, 2023, Manitoba welcomed skilled workers from overseas with a significant issuance of 1,113 Letters of Advice to Apply. The draw, under the Skilled Worker Overseas category, saw candidates with a ranking score as low as 601 securing invitations.

Of notable mention, 529 out of the 1,113 Letters of Advice were extended to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code, showcasing the integration of multiple immigration pathways.

It is important to highlight that this draw did not encompass candidates who received Invitations to Apply under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, ensuring a focused selection process.

For candidates whose scores surpass the lowest-ranked invitee but did not receive a Letter of Advice, possible reasons include the indication of a third-party language test without a valid Test Number or an expired language test. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) encourages such candidates to update their Expression of Interest (EOI) with accurate information for consideration in subsequent draws.

This draw also prioritized candidates working in regulated occupations fully licensed to work in Manitoba. However, the MPNP emphasizes the need for applicants to be actively employed in the declared regulated occupation and to provide proof of completed licensing steps. Candidates falling outside these criteria are advised to carefully assess their eligibility before accepting the Letter of Advice to Apply.
